however it’s important to keep in mind, that amidst all this toughness, sometimes it’s important to remember that real shit happens and we need to be careful.a very good friend of mine got jumped last night right off e. jefferson/11th last night around 9pm. she was walking alone, while it was still light out.
four teenage girls pulled her to the ground and began throwing rocks and kicking her; this is while trying to nab her purse.
after a long night of dealing with cops and doctors she is fine but this ain’t ok. we get that no one likes being a tattle-tell, however these four girls have apparently been at this game for a while. therefore if you happen to hear anything about this, give the east precinct a call, (206) 684-430.

this sort of thing seems to come with the summer weather. we all need to walk with our heads up high. growing up in a seedy hood, I know first hand that this helps ward off bad guys. just a lil confidence goes a long way.
