on a day as perfect as today i am realizing that there is more to life than the red dungeon that is cha cha. granted many good times have come from the joint but as the days get hotter and longer i find myself craving some vitamin d with my vitamin r. is it too much to ask for a seasonal bar to be at cal anderson? ok, maybe thats extreme but besides linda’s where can we drink outside without venturing too far? the roof at the war room is cool but it gets packed and isn’t very big.

i need a friend with a BIG backyard. any takers?

Back in the day we use to go to Broadway Grill for the best patio seating on Broadway but I have not been there in a long time.
Our backyard will be empty all weekend. You’ll have to party with the neighbor kids, though, or at least throw their toys back over the fence.
Maybe the Cal Anderson beer garden should become part of this RAGING DEBATE
A seasonal bar at Cal Anderson when there are drinking options within a block of literally every edge of the park? I think you may be an alcoholic, cupcake.
Try the little patio at Rosebud
