as i sit here on my couch trying

desperately to break my caffe vita addiction,

i am pondering my lunch options.

piecora’s is close, endless pho and thai options are all over but what i really want is a juicy ass burger with all the fixin’s. problem is i don’t want to have to go to a sit down place like broadway grill or costal kitchen.

what i want is a casual place i can walk to and order, get my shit and peace out. remember when kidd valley was on 15th?

so it seems to get burger on the fast up here on the hill only leads me to dick’s on broadway-which is great-but not what i am looking for. i can eat one of those suckers in 45 seconds no problem.

the only other option is the honey hole which is good for sandwiches and beer but not a favorite of mine for a burger.

it seems there are places all over other neighborhoods in seattle that serve up this kind of thing but not here. why?!

i’m thinking we could squeeze something in somewhere within the trifecta or down broadway. a place that offers burgers and fries at a good take-out price. they can crank out a special sauce and offer some cool options like pineapple, avacado or grilled onions. mhmmmmm.

damn, i’m hungry.

    quinns has a good one.

  1. Unfortunately Quinns isn’t really a take-out kinda place. But it is damn good food.

I think Baguette Box comes close close. No burgers but good fries and great sandwiches for around $9. It’s a little bit of a walk but not too bad.

But I agree, we need a few more burger and sandwich joints in these parts.

yes, yes indeed. i’m thinking a cross between something as easy as dicks but giving you as many options as red robin.
