did anyone else see the mysterious black smoke ring above first hill yesterday evening?
a few friends and i were hanging out on a roof top deck of an apartment on madison and 15th when we noticed it. the ring dissolved after a few minutes but we were all perplexed. wtf? it was like that weird smoke shit from lost. i know the pic sucks but it was the best i could do to capture the madness. any ideas?!

holy shit…smoke monster!? ben has some explaining to do.
The smoke ring was from the cyclo-cross rally (!) at Qwest Field. (My crew was next door at the M’s game when it was shot off.)
i just don’t know what to make of it. what the hell is a cyclo-cross rally? the others are probably coming.
